These STANDARD chainsaw rubber boots offer reliable Class 1 cut protection, certified to BS EN ISO 17249 for chainsaw speeds up to 20 m/s. They feature a rough, self-cleaning tread with a non-slip rubber sole profile, providing secure footing in demanding environments, and the sole is also suitable for spikes.
The boots are lightweight due to their lower leg height and include a flexband for added comfort. An adjustable textile shaft collar ensures a comfortable fit and makes them suitable for larger calves, while reflective areas improve visibility in darker conditions or woodland settings.
The cut-protection system contains special materials that are drawn out when they make contact with the saw chain, helping to stop the chain in fractions of a second. Protection covers the entire forefoot, the tongue, and the left and right shaft edges beside the tongue.
Safety-tested steel caps add further protection, meeting EN 20345 standards by withstanding impact from a 20 kg weight dropped from one metre. While these boots provide important safety features, no personal protective equipment can offer complete protection or replace safe working practices.
