The steel caps protect your feet from injury. The EN 20345 hardness test verifies the robustness of the steel caps using a 20 kg weight dropped onto the shoe from a height of 1 metre. The steel cap must reliably protect the foot in this process. The steel intermediate sole prevents pointed or sharp objects from penetrating the shoe from below.
