The STIHL MSA 300 is the most powerful battery-powered chainsaw in the STIHL range, developed for demanding professional applications in forestry, arboriculture, landscaping, and grounds maintenance. With a performance level comparable to the petrol-powered MS 261 C-M, this saw is ideal for felling, delimbing, and cutting to length—especially in noise-sensitive environments such as parks, schools, hospitals, and urban developments.
Powered by the AP 500 S battery, the MSA 300 delivers a maximum electrical output of 3.0 kW with three selectable chain speeds (20 m/s, 24 m/s, and 30 m/s). The result is highly versatile performance that adapts easily to your task. Combined with a 16" or 18" Light 04 guide bar and .325" RS Pro chain, it provides fast, aggressive cutting with reduced tool weight.
The saw’s compact, balanced design, combined with anti-vibration technology and a soft-grip handle, offers superb handling and operator comfort. Its LED display gives live feedback on chain brake status and operating mode, while the control lever with variable speed function gives you complete control over output during operation.
The MSA 300 is also IPX4-rated for wet weather use and features a non-woven air filter to keep the motor and electronics protected from debris. A Smart Connector 2 A can be mounted for integration with STIHL connected digital fleet management.
