The TS 410 is a compact and robust 12” (300 mm) petrol-powered cut-off machine designed for demanding professional use. With its optimised balance and compact design, it delivers excellent cutting and guiding characteristics and can be used either handheld or with the FW 20 cart. It is supplied as standard with a 12” abrasive cutting wheel.
 
Powered by a 3.2 kW STIHL 2-MIX engine, the TS 410 combines high performance with reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions, meeting the strict EU Stage V emissions directive. The 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and fuel-efficient, even at high power levels, ensuring strong performance with lower running costs.
 
The TS 410 is equipped with several starting aids for easy operation. A manual fuel pump reduces the number of pulls required after long breaks, while a decompression valve allows some compressed mixture to escape during start-up, reducing the effort needed to pull the starter cord. The ElastoStart system further smooths out the starting process, minimising shock loading on the user. A bayonet filler cap allows for tool-free refuelling.
 
For long service life and reduced maintenance, the TS 410 features a long-life air filter system with cyclone pre-separation. Around 80% of dust particles are removed from intake air before reaching the filter, significantly extending filter life and ensuring consistent performance even in dusty environments.
 
Comfort during operation is enhanced by the STIHL anti-vibration system, which uses buffer and spring elements to minimise vibrations transmitted to the handles. With vibration levels as low as 3.9 m/s², the TS 410 provides more pleasant handling and less fatigue during longer periods of cutting.
 
An ergonomic handle design ensures a secure grip and precise control, making it easy to guide the cut-off machine along marked lines. The machine’s smooth running further contributes to accurate and controlled cutting results.
 
The guard is fitted with a direct water connection, which provides a permanent, dosable water supply to the cutting wheel. This binds dust and cools the cut, making wet cutting easy and effective. The cast magnesium guard provides durability and stability while keeping weight low.
Semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioning simplifies the re-tensioning of the drive belt, ensuring consistent tension that extends the life of both the belt and bearing.
